LENTEN STUDY Adult Religious Education Tuesdays, 7:30pm – 8:30pm February 12 – March 11 (5 part series) Pope Benedict’s Encyclical Letter“On Christian Hope” What allows us to face the present moment? Our Hope! By this virtue of Hope, we can face our present trials. The present difficulties of our day to day life can truly be faced and accepted when it is directed to a most certain goal. Our Hope directs us to Eternal life. The goal justifies the effort of our journey. Without Hope, we all too often find our life directionless or meaningless; orwe are just stuck in a rut or paralyzed. Pope Benedict offers us an inspiring motivation tokeep our “Eyes on the Prize”!
