About PSR: Parish School of Religion
Our Catholic Parish School of Education provides faith-filled learning for children in 1st through 6th grade. We help children grow in their relationship with God while learning about the Catholic faith, prayer, Scripture, and how to live as disciples of Christ.
Throughout their years in the program, students prepare to receive important Sacraments and deepen their understanding of what it means to be part of the Catholic Church. Students prepare for and receive First Reconciliation, where they learn about God’s mercy and the Sacrament of Penance, and First Communion, where they receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time.
As students continue in their faith formation, they also prepare for Confirmation, the Sacrament that strengthens their faith and helps them live more fully as witnesses of Christ.
Our goal is simple: to help children know and love God, understand their Catholic faith, participate fully in the life of the Church, and grow in faith at home and in their community.
