Greeter
A ministry of hospitality to welcome people to the Liturgy as they enter the church, especially visitors.
Sacristan
Oversees the preparation of the Sunday (and occasional Holy Day or special Mass) liturgy including minister check-in, making ready the bread and wine, as well as the vessels for the Eucharist. Time commitment is 30 minutes before and after Mass.
Altar Server
Assists the Priest at Mass with various tasks including carrying the cross, candles, and/or incense; holding the Roman Missal for the Priest to read when needed; prepares the altar for the Eucharist as directed. Servers will be scheduled on a rotating basis and each server is responsible for finding a replacement if they are unable to serve.
Lector
Proclaim the Word of God during the Mass. Lectors will be scheduled on a rotating basis. Qualifications: Fully initiated Catholic in full communion with the Church.
Usher
Assist with and direct seating of the assembly at weekend liturgies, take up the collection, distribute bulletins, and assist those with special needs and emergency situations.
Gift Bearer
Bring forward the bread and wine for the Liturgy of the Eucharist, as well as the collection. Families or a group of individuals may serve in this ministry.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
Eucharistic Ministers assist in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. Please contact the priest directly if interested in becoming a Eucharistic minister.
Musician
Cantor/Pianist/Organist/Other
Lead the community in praise and worship through song. Musicians are needed for both weekend Masses and Holy Days. Opportunities are available for cantor, pianist, organist, and other musical instruments.
